Travelling Camera's

It seems you can send all sorts of things travelling - Alex at Hejorama sent 10 camera's out into the world in the summer of 2011 with the aim of getting them to travel the world; 

The concept is simple, we give a disposable camera to someone with the mission to take 5 pictures and then find a traveler to pass the camera to who will take 5 photos again but in a different part of the world, etc... A chain of 5 people taking 5 pictures around the world. We figured that it would be a great way to connect people together.

And they've started to get the camera's back - how cool is this! They even sent a couple of notebooks out with the cameras. Here at the Travelling Notebooks we just love this idea and we know we've only just started the journey, but we can't wait to get the notebooks back!

We just love how different each of the entries, and in turn the posts about the entries, are turning out. I guess that it the beauty of working with so many differing people. 

Snap is back!

You might have seen last month's post about snap hitting Scotland. Well, it left the north and came back to Sheffield for the wonderful @nic_amethyst fill in. Nicola has included a photo from her travels to India.

And Nic posted her pages, and the book, obviously, over to the lovely Jamie, @stumbleandrelish in Chicago, who it seems might be having some trouble posting the book on as it's being safely guarded by her pup, Wynston;
